Mithai is a popular drama, comedy and romance serial air on Bengali television channel Zee Bangla. It is released on 4th January 2021. Mithai is also streaming on the digital platform ZEE5. This is NO. 1 serial, it's shows on overall West Bengal TRP charts. The show has been directed by Rajendra Prasad Das.
Zee Bangla Mithai story: Mithai is a charming sweet seller, who carry a pleasant smile on her face all the time, she goes to Modak family to sell her homemade sweets (Monohora) and over time, bonds with them like a family member. Once she runs away from her wedding to a unworthy lad and hence Dadu(grandpa) from Modak's family convinced Mithai to marry Siddhartha from his family unfortunately he refuses to marry Mithai owing to her poor financial condition, and lack of education and social skills. Siddhartha does not believe in the concept of marriage, at the same time Torsha also proposes to him, he straight away refuses dispite he wants to start good friendship.
Dadu felts so bad for poor Mithai, he decides to get Mithai married to Som who backs out on the wedding day. In such situation there is no option, Siddharth has to marry Mithai to save Dadu's honour. Mithai's marital life could not succeed because of Sid's indifference and other factors. Few days later, Rajib, Ratul and other family members plans both to bring closer using different techniques. In every serial there are villians plays very vital role to make such serial interesting, in this serial Som and Pisemosai plot with Agarwals Modak Group's rival company to stop Mithai from joining their business and cause them financial crisis.
Poor Mithai is not aware, Sid's father meets with Torsha's mother to break Mithai and Sid's marriage, Torsha's mother gives idea to Mr Modak to let Mithai join the business and create her bad image in the family they allow her to join the business.
