Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Trailer

Movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Review

In 2004, in a palace in Bhawanigarh, Rajasthan, priests capture a furious spirit ready to attacking a member of the Thakur family, and trap it inside a room. The family abandon the palace, leaving it deserted.

Sometime in present-day Himachal Pradesh, Ruhaan Randhawa meets Reet Rathore Ruhan Randhawa/Rooh Baba (Kartik Aaryan) claims that he can see dead people and sometimes they also enter in his body. As love finds its way between Reet Thakur (Kiara Advani) and Ruhan, mysterious adventures begin.

This horror-comedy flick is a sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007)but the relation between the BB of 2007 and BB2 just lies in the name only. When we talk about the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Akshay, of course had done a tremendous job. but we cannot deny the fact then the script of the movie was pretty great where the makers play with the fears of your brain, physiological horror and in the bb2 you just need to keep your brain aside and watch the movie not even the director Anees Bazmee wants you to stress your mind too much. You find yourself caged in the wondrous world of bb that Kumar and Manjulika created back in 2007Kumar's. Head nod and especially squishy eyes move, which Kartik try so hard to copy but original has its own value. Eventhough you want to come out of the sea of nostalgia you can't, because every scene is somewhere predictable, makers try very hard to make you laugh but fail miserably even to put a smile. There are repeated jokes at the expense of an overweight child and a hard-of-hearing pandit.

Fear is stronger when you have fear of unknown. The thought of someone is coming, someone will come is even more scarier than that someone but in BB 2 you will get the look of Manjulika quite frequently. For those who watch classic horror movie they will not find even T of terror but for those who are scaredy cat can find some jumpscare scenes who gives you the shock in a shocking way.

"Ami je tomar" a song which was enough to give you the goosebumps even after the end of the Bhool bhulaiya back in 2007 there was a constant humming sound that played like a broken record in the back of your mind, trigger nightmares and have its effect on you till now contrast to BB2 there some songs that you find forced in the movie.

Kartik ofcourse feel the pressure down to his last bone for his acting but yes, he nailed it.His comic timming is perfect eventhough some dialogues are not upto the mark. In first half Kartik really make you feel what he want through his acting but in the second half you will find that storyline is going in some other direction.Tabu which is now another name of versatility make you fall in love with her, you may go to watch movie for Kartik but when you come out of the hall Tabu is the one whom you talk about. Now how can we forget about tge another name of comedy, Rajpal Yadav who even don't need dialogues to make you laugh his expressions is enough to make you laugh out loud.

In conclusion, no one likes to get compared even you don't feel good when your parents do it with you, the same with the movie. It would be crime to compare Aaryan to Kumar. There is no connection between these two movies. BB is not bad enough to make you feel that you wasted 3 hours of your life but it's also not a masterpiece. It is a movie that we count in a so-so category.A friendly warning for you dont keep your expectations high.
